Project: Roof Mounted Solar PV Installation

The Green Electrician installed a 9.88kWp solar pv installation on a profile roof agricultural shed for a working livestock farm in Woore, Shropshire. We used a specially designed, highly efficient photovoltaic mounting system that did not require access from the inside the building, facilitating the installation and minimising disturbance to the customer. 

The 52 panel system used Suntech 190 modules from the world's leading solar manufacturer, Sunpower. "We chose this panel as it is reassuring that it is such a well established company should I need any warranty support within the next 25 years. I am delighted with the system. Having previously worked in financial markets, I have never come across such a low risk, high return investment before. Installing solar panels on my farm really is a no brainer." commented the new system owner, Mr Higgin.
